Lunamora

Privacy Policy

Last updated November 7, 2026

The short version. Your cycle, fertility logs, notes and birth details stay on your iPhone. We never receive them, never sell any data, and use no advertising SDKs. We collect a small amount of app usage data to improve Lunamora, and your email only if you sign up for our letters.

Who we are

Lunamora is made by SIA MAD Digital, a company registered in Latvia (reg. no. 50203495251), Dukātu iela 32, Dreiliņi, Stopiņu pag., Ropažu nov., LV-2130, Latvia. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at privacy@lunamora.app.

Data that stays on your iPhone

Everything you log in Lunamora is stored only on your device: period dates, symptoms, temperature, LH and other test results, intercourse, notes, your goal, and your birth date, time and place. Your birth chart, lunar returns and predictions are calculated on your iPhone. We do not receive this data, and it is not part of any analytics or email.

When you search for your birth place, the text you type is sent to Apple's location search to find the place. Apple's privacy policy applies to that lookup.

If your iPhone backs up to iCloud, your Lunamora data is included in that backup under your Apple account. We cannot read it.

Data we collect

App usage analytics

To see which screens help people and where they get stuck, the app sends usage events to PostHog, our analytics provider, on servers in the European Union. Events are tied to a random install ID created on your iPhone, not to your name or Apple ID. They include:

In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics stays off unless you turn it on. Everywhere else it is on, and you can turn it off at any time in You > Privacy. When it is off, no events are sent.

Email, if you sign up

If you choose to get our moon letter or product emails, we store your email address, your first name if you give it, your sun sign, moon sign, birth moon phase, time zone, subscription status and plan, trial end date, install ID and how you found us. We send these to Loops, our email provider, to send and personalize the letters. You confirm your address before you get any letters, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

Purchases

Apple handles payment. We never see your card details. Apple tells us about your subscription (for example a trial starting, a renewal or a refund), linked to your install ID, so we can unlock Premium and keep our subscription numbers. These events go through our server functions, hosted by Supabase, to our analytics and, if you signed up for email, to Loops.

Our website

This website is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security. The website uses no cookies and no tracking.

What we do not do

Install measurement uses Apple's own privacy-preserving systems (Apple Search Ads attribution, SKAdNetwork and AdAttributionKit), which do not identify you.

Who processes data for us

They process data only on our instructions. Where data goes outside the EU, the transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Your choices and rights

In the app, under You > Privacy, you can turn analytics on or off, reset your install ID, export all your data as a file, and erase everything on your device.

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export the data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its use, or to withdraw consent, by emailing privacy@lunamora.app. We reply within 30 days. Deleting your data also deletes your email contact at Loops.

If you are in the EU or EEA, you can also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (dvi.gov.lv) or your local data protection authority.

US state privacy rights

If you live in California, Washington, Nevada, Connecticut, Colorado, Virginia, Texas or another state with a privacy law, you have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal data, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you can use the other rights at privacy@lunamora.app. We will not treat you differently for using them. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.

Consumer health data

Your cycle and fertility logs never leave your iPhone. The limited data we do receive, described above, could still show that you use a cycle app. We use it only to run and improve Lunamora and to send emails you asked for. We never sell it, never share it for advertising, and delete it on request. This section is our consumer health data privacy notice under Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar laws.

Age

Lunamora is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you already gave us, we will tell you in the app or by email before it applies.
